aaNet have this week quietly revealed an approximate doubling in the number of exchanges on which they can supply adsl2+.
The first announcement was on the updated BBnext list.
One difference is that this appears to be an new deal through an alternate wholesaler, as $5 pay-as-you-go plans are not available.

There has been a bit discussion about it on whirlpool

If your exchange is listed, but you are still shown in the members area as being on "Telstra inftrastructure", then the plan change selection to ADSL2 will not be available. It appears they are updating the information at the moment, so if you exchange is listed, but you cannot change plans by next week, then contact billing.
