There is a long outage affecting many, but not all, ADSL1 customers in Qld.
From Ryan Bunter on Whirlpool...
Quote:
The outage is being caused by a fibre issue between our Queensland POP and one of the main exchanges.

While there is still no ETR there are teams at the site of the issue right now so we are hopeful that this issue will not continue for much longer.

As more information becomes available we'll make sure it is posted on Whirlpool.

Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that this outage has caused.

Thanks,
Ryan

UPDATE:

Quote:
Services are now restored, an we're seeing a large number of sessions already back online.

Please ask any customer still having issues in QLD to power cycle their ADSL router.
