The email server providing POP3 and IMAP service to customers is not responding. Outage started about 11:00 AEST.
This seems to include webmail, although I finally got a response.

Webmail seems to limp along slowly, and the POP3 server works intermittently, although I have yet to receive anything.

Emails from outside are being accepted by aaNet, but are not being delivered to the end server, so I guess they will queue up somewhere in the system.
